“My treatment with Dr. Piontkowski over the past year has been a remarkable experience. Initially I expected the dental appliance to resolve pain in my lower jaw, which it did. Realigning the jaw to function properly with an appliance was a great alternative to surgery. But expansion of the lower and upper jaw with a DNA Appliance brought benefits that I did not expect. As my sinuses opened up I began to breathe better and feel more alert during the day. For the first time in my life I can fall asleep with ease and wake up feeling refreshed. This has resulted in a new level of mental clarity that is amazing to me. My whole life I have struggled with OCD and ADD, obstacles that made it difficult in school. Last year I decided to go back and finish my bachelor’s degree and it is difficult to express how this new mental clarity has helped me succeed. Last semester I earned a 4.0 GPA taking 18 college credits, something that would have been impossible two years earlier. I also find it much easier to handle stress and anxiety as my confidence increases. The final benefit has come from having a better developed jaw that looks great. I look forward to the final stage of treatment with Dr. Piontkowski as the various benefits continue to increase.”
